Holidays over, Back to work.

Well my 2 week break is now over and I'm back doing my film course. I didnt do as much as I wanted to on lolpredators but I still got quite a bit done. Scene two is more than half done now and alot of it was done today and yesterday. At the moment the scene has no jokes but it does have alot of action. I'm making this scene not really for comedy but really so I can just show some alien vs predator vs marine action that a bet a few people would want to see at least once in this cartoon. Heres a little peak:

  1. My very first reaction to the middle picture was, "He's gonna shoot his fellow marine in the head!" LOL.

    The stabbing looks good!

  2. Predators blades are supposed to be visible even when camo is activated, or so I believe

  3. No I dont think they are actually. The shot of the cloaked blades stabbing someone in the back is in almost every predator related movie. I really wanted to give a nod to the movies by putting that shot in so im pretty sure that the blades are cloaked and stay cloaked.

  5. Wow you're right. But remember this is the first predator effect, I think after that the blade stayed cloaked in every movie. And in the game they are aswell. Unless you can find me another clip lol.

  6. Ah, it was just the original I was talking about. I watched it recently and remembered distinctly that scene where the blade was visible while the Predator was camoflauged. I think it's more effective that way, personally, though you're right that the AVP series has the blade camoed.

I was trying to find a scene from Pred2, but haven't got the time to watch the full movie.

Anyways, just said I'd point it out because as I said, I'd watched the original recently :)

  7. I just flicked through predator 2 and yet again the blades are visible. Maybe it was in the crappy AVP movies that I saw that cloaked blade stabbing shot. Well I guess now that deserves some experimentation. I'll try the scene with uncloaked blades. Theres still something cool about cloaked blades though.
