I was just fooling around with some lighting effects today. It wasnt really for anything, just for fun. Im trying to get it to look something like this:
I think I did ok. Watch the effect loop here: http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1274002126
and here: http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1274014666
That's the shit, right there! Brilliant work!! Criticism aside, i'd just say it's a job well done.
ReplyDeleteHey do you have msn? Care to chat? Just asking =)
ReplyDeletelol depends on what you want to chat about, I dont just give my msn out to people. even people as complimenting as you :P
ReplyDeleteFor now, lets talk through my blog but after a while Ill give you my msn (myb)
My old msn got flooded with people asking for advice on making cartoons, Im not gonna risk that again lol. better safe than sorry.
Being famous, you're gonna have to have a FAQ page written up! Heh heh heh.
ReplyDeleteYeah, good job. :) For the TDS look, and so the dust doesn't look like blurred snow falling, or like something falling from the ceiling, have the particles start low and rise away from the window at a slight angle. I don't know what tools you have there, but the particles pop into view and start at the size you have and shrink to nothing as they leave the moonbeams. It's a lot of work, so I understand if you can't change it.
Here's a vid. Full-screen is a little easier to see what's happening:

I see what you mean, this is just a test though. Perhaps next time I want to do moonlight effect or even a sunlight effect with dust this will come in handy, thanks.
